We made a tiny Las Vegas for Adobe Summit.
Well, technically a kinetic, 12-foot circular, Adobe-fied Las Vegas built around a working LED sphere inspired by the real Sphere.
The diorama was filled with custom-fabricated Vegas details: a spinning “Welcome Adobe” sign, a working monorail, oversized flamingos, a rising hot air balloon, embedded mini LED billboards, a spinning ferris wheel, and a bunch of little moments you have to look closely to catch.
The experience was designed to showcase Adobe Firefly’s custom-trained model for generating 360° spherical content. Guests could customize their own world on a touchscreen, generate a custom 360 scene, and instantly see it appear on the physical mini sphere. They also left with a personalized takeaway video of their creation mapped onto a 3D sphere.
Huge shoutout to FTB for bringing the fabrication magic and an insane level of detail to this tiny world.
Nerd details: touchscreen experience built in web, sphere control + playback + takeaway system built in TouchDesigner.
Crowd pleaser, centerpiece, and somehow also the place where Jensen Huang and Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen stopped by for a talk. Pretty surreal.
