In my pursuit to be friends with the Sun I just got the Logitech K750 solar powered keyboard.  Not gonna lie, pretty hyped on it.  I’m typing with it right now and so far so good. According to the stats (check them all out here) it will stay charged for up to 3 months with no sunlight off of one full charge.  Plus even the low light from my monitors will charge it.  This has definitely sparked a new interest of mine and that is SUN!  Sunshine makes me feel great. and I want to be surrounded by things that are awesome, so I decided I want to make my own solar powered light.  Not too hard from what I’ve seen online but I’m hoping to bring an Arduino into the mix, (open-source single-board microcontroller) and make some artsy/nerdy/solar powered thing light.  And you know that shit is gonna involve shapes (I love shapes too).  I’ll keep you posted, first thing is to design the actual light then figure out how to bring my homie the SUN into the mix.
